Faith Castle is a senior at the University of Texas at Austin. Castle is a co-founder of BlackPrint, UT\u2019s only Black interest publication, and the president of the National Association of Black Journalists at UT. She has worked as a multimedia intern at KUT\/X and is a current multimedia fellow at The Texas Tribune. For the past two years, she has been a features reporter and page designer for The Monitor daily newspaper in McAllen, Texas, covering health and education, among other beats. She is also a writing intern for Ashoka, an international nonprofit, and previously interned for NBC\u2019s TODAY Show. She\u2019s served as a news producer and social media manager at UH\u2019s student media center, and she\u2019s also produced her own video packages as a field reporter. As a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, she connects with other journalists who share her interest in highlighting the Latinx community.
